Data Storage and Access

DYNAMICS stores collected data collected in text formatted files with a “.exp” extension.  Control access to these files through the Windows Operating System.

All data associated with the DynaPro measurement are stored in the experiment file including the average intensity, real time 1 second intensity readings, real time correlation functions, average correlation functions, size distribution results, instrument parameters, software settings, etc.  You have access to all of the data; no data are discarded.

MicroSoft applications with the ability to read or import text formats can read or import the .exp file.  If you are interested in designing your own data processing or archiving interface, perhaps as part of an automated laboratory environment, please contact us for the detailed file format and structure.

Alternatively, you can export or copy data directly from each of the many graphs and tables built into the DYNAMICS software.  Shown below are two examples.
