Database Storage

In the Security Pack or Research Database mode, ASTRA saves and retrieves data from ODBC-compliant databases such as Microsoft SQL Server. The database can be local or networked. If networked, multiple installations of ASTRA can save and retrieve data from the same central database.

It is also possible to both export data from the database and import data into the database. The import utility makes it possible to read in legacy ASTRA files or use data from other ASTRA installations. The export utility enables sharing of data from the database with other users or customer service here at Wyatt Technology.
